This was done by Derek at Ace of Spades in Asheville NC sometime in April. It has healed up much better, and the shading looks great. This means so much to me, story wise, and because I drew it, but I really got this as a reminder to a simple phrase. “Remember flight” I went through a “rough” time in highschool, long story short, I lost all my close friends and my girlfriend in 2 weeks. After being a debbie downer for ever so long, I finally realized that sulking will get me no where, so I stood up, got back out there and found some even better friends. That being said, I had this done with my best friend by my side, and it has gained some more meanings.. Like “Don’t let anything, good or bad, get too much power behind it” a paper airplane is nothing without power behind it. Foot tattoos hurt like a mother.. but I plan on getting another one done eventually.
This is my 6th tattoo. I’ve always had an obsession for elephants. & I decided to take my love for them everywhere I go. I got the trunk slanted just for my mothers sake, because she always told me that when an elephhants trunk is down It’s bad luck. Done by Arturo, Oakland CA.
